In the world of extra virgin olive oil, the Koroneiki olive is widely considered the 'Queen.' While other varieties focus on size or oil yield, the Koroneiki focuses on intensity. Its small fruit size leads to a higher skin-to-flesh ratio, resulting in the high polyphenol counts found in our Sensory Guide.

This variety is particularly resilient to the arid climates of the Peloponnese. The resulting oil is characterized by notes of green almond, freshly cut grass, and that signature peppery finish. Whether harvested from our Lofos hillside or the coastal flats, the Koroneiki remains the heart of our production.
